The City of Eugene’s annual State of the City event returns to the Hult Center’s Soreng Theater on Monday, January 12, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. Mayor Kaarin Knudson will deliver her State of the City address reflecting on the past year and what’s to come.

The program also includes a presentation of Community Service Awards by Mayor Knudson, a video highlighting the year’s accomplishments, and announcement of the Mayor’s Art Show winners. Entertainment will include a Flamenco guitar performance by James Manuele as well as a banjo medley performed by Henry Strid and Joe Suskind.

The event is free, open to the public and wheelchair accessible and will be interpreted for the hearing-impaired. People who would like to watch from home can do so on Comcast channel 21 or by visiting the City’s Public Webcasts page online to stream live.
